Recommended research path for the first half of the chapter: You may even need to sell off some of your older culture to make room, and because you can afford to. Some high-value culture items that don’t need road contact are still handy to have, but you’ll want to get most of your culture from buildings that produce Mana, now. Make plenty of room next to roads for the large weeping willow culture buildings.ĭon’t bother changing over too many other culture buildings you’ll get any needed culture boost from your willows. Use this time while you work through to researching the weeping willows to do any necessary re-arranging of your layout. After the weeping willows, you’ll need to unlock “Greetings, Housing, and a Well” in order to open up access to the workshops and residence upgrades. Work your way to unlocking the weeping willows as a first priority. The beginning of this chapter is a breath of fresh air! After selling off all your orc production buildings and portal, you’ll have a lot of space (or at least what seems like it for now!) and a lot of coins and supplies! Note - you can click the help button on any Mana building screen: ♦ 20k Mana, or roughly 20k/4480 (maximum daily collection amount per willow) To reach the goal, you'll want to increase Mana production if you aren't producing at least double of the decay amount. When you need a balance that is greater than 100k, and you are losing 10k a day. This will get increasingly difficult throughout the Woodelves chapter as the required amounts get higher and higher. You must be able to produce more than your daily decay amount in order to keep up with the chapter requirements. The higher Mana balances you need to hold, the higher you need your Mana production to be. In the example picture, notice how there are more than 6 hours that mana can accrue for before it will hit the max, and only just under 3 hours before the next decay time. Wait at least until after the decay time, but before the maximum accrual time if you can. Note how long you have until your Mana buildings reach capacity, and when your Mana inventory will decay.Īvoid collecting mana until after the decay time if you can help it for maximum benefit.

In the Woodelves chapter, goods production can seem confusing at first, as there are even more new buildings than we're used to getting in previous chapters. This guide will provide a quick review of some Woodelves basics as well as some general strategic recommendations based on what we’ve learned about Woodelves in the wiki, crunching some numbers, and playing through the chapter. You can read facts about the woodelves and the buildings that come with this chapter in the wiki.
